Regular Chequing Account
This account is designed for members who have a low volume of transactions or members that can maintain a $1,000 minimum balance.

- Free cheques, withdrawals, and EFT’s (electronic fund transfer) if a minimum balance of $1000 is maintained
- Free funds transfers between North Winnipeg Credit Union accounts
- Low cost bill payments and Interac Direct Payment purchases
Premium Chequing Account
NWCU Premium Chequing Account is designed for those members who regularly utilize many banking services. Tiered interest is paid monthly on this account. As your balance increases you earn a higher rate. For a low monthly fee of $12.50, you receive the following benefits:
- Free debits for cheques and in-branch withdrawals
- Free bill payments (telephone banking and internet banking)
- Free NWCU ATM, Direct Payment and pre-authorized debit
- Free personalized cheques (in-house styles only)
- Free mailing of monthly statement with cheque images
Golden Chequing Account
The Golden Account is a chequing account designed specifically for our members aged 60 and older. Golden Account members receive many benefits just because they deserve it! These benefits include:
- Free over the counter bill payments and withdrawals
- Free Interac direct payments
- Free cheque clearing (Canadian)
- Free internet and telephone bill payments
- Free electronic transfers
- 24 hour access via telephone and internet banking
Young Adult Chequing
NWCU Young Adult Chequing account is available to members 18 to 25 years of age. Whether you are studying or working – we know how hard it can be to make ends meet. That’s why we give you a break on many fees with Young Adult Chequing Account.
